Dry feet are warm feet, so proofing your boots or hiking trainers is an absolute priority. Nikwax have produced this environmentally-sensitive alternative to regular dubbin, giving a flexible water repellent layer that maintains breathability.

As with all Nikwax products, this fabric and leather proof is water-based, non-flammable, and doesn't use solvents or fluorocarbons.

Using Nikwax Fabric and Leather Proof

• Make sure you clean your boots first with a blunt knife (for the big clumps of dirt) and a damp cloth.
• Apply from 5cm distance.
• After a couple of minutes, wipe away surplus proofing and then allow your boots to dry before use.
